Tory Tarsitano, CRMS, has a reputation. In an industry that has seen its share of boom and bust over the last 28years, he’s the guy who still has the same phone number. When the crash came down, he says, “I never left for a single day”. People always ask me how I made it through the down cycles. I really believe it’s because I’ve always done the right thing from day one. My clients know I am a real person and that regardless of what state the industry is in, I’ve always treated them fairly and ethically. It’s important that my clients understand that I will be here when they need us for any reason or point in time. I’ve always been honest with them. They appreciate it and in turn, keep coming back and referring their family and friends.
The foundation of every client relationship I have is education. That’s something that a lot of our competitor’s neglect. I want to be a long-term partner with the client. That means if you have questions about something, even if you don’t need a mortgage now, I’m going to answer that phone call. We aim to be an asset to everyone, regardless of their situation. That requires a depth of knowledge that only comes with extensive experience and education. I am one of only a handful of bankers in the State of Illinois to achieve the CRMS designation, a rigorous certification bestowed by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. I have a large support team and we handle all clients as if they are the only client.
